Presentation Guideline

For Oral Presentations

* including Special Lectures, Award Lectures, Symposia and the International Symposium for Medicinal Sciences

1) How to prepare presentation slides
The session room only supports digital presentations using only one LCD projector. Please prepare for your presentation slides with Microsoft Powerpoint 2007, 2010, 2013. In case you will make slides by Mac PC or you will use movies in presentation, please bring your own laptop, in order to avoid unexpected equipment troubles.
2) How to upload your presentation
Please bring your presentation slides with USB flash memory or bring your own laptop itself to the Speakers Desk (Room 211+212, located in the 2nd floor of the venue) until at least 1 hour before your presentation.
If you are a speaker of Award Lectures of AL20 and AL21, and a speaker of the International Symposium for Medicinal Sciences, please directly visit the Speakers Desk located in front of Room V in Annex Hall.

<Notice when you bring your laptop>
  • Please be sure to bring AC adaptors.
  • Please make a new folder on the desk top and save your slides there, so that our operator can find your slides easily.
  • Your PC will be connected to a projector with a g15-pin, mini D-sub (VGA)h cable. Please be sure to bring a conversion adapter if you use Macintosh or thin laptops.
  • Conference room does not support HDMI cables.
  • Please turn off the screen saver and power save mode in advance.
  • Set the resolution to XGA (1,024~768).
  • Please receive your laptop at the operator desk located in each session room after your presentation.
3) Regular Sessions

    On March 27: Room L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U (total 10 rooms)
    On March 28 and 29: Room K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U (total 11 rooms)
  • Time allotment
    You have 10 minutes for presentation and 2 minute for Q&A. Please remember to keep your allotted time.

For Poster Presentations

1) Presentation Schedule
Poster presentation will be held in the Exhibition Hall AB, Pacifiko Yokohama, from March 27 to 29. Posters should be put up and removed within the following designated time. Please confirm your presentation is held either in the morning or in the afternoon in advance. Presentation core-time is difference based on the program number of your presentation.
If your poster is not removed after the removal time, the organizing committee will remove and discard the posters on behalf.

* Due to Novel Prize Lecture held on March 29, the presentation core-time for morning session on 29 is different from that of 27 and 28.

2) How to prepare posters
  • Following poster boards will be prepared in the Exhibition Hall AB, Pacifico Yokohama. Since each poster board has its own number, please confirm which board you need to put up a poster at the entrance of the exhibition hall.
  • Please prepare your Program No. by yourself so that it can be posted upper left side of the boards. Also, please put up a presentation title, author names and affiliations at the space A and put up your poster at space B. Please mark the presenting author with a circle.
  • Please put up a poster with pins prepared by the organizer.
  • Please wear a ribbon for poster presenter during presentation core-time.
  • Please remove posters from 11:45 or 16:15, and put pins and ribbons back to its original place.
